Cobra Glazing Medium

Cobra Glazing Medium improves flow and increases sheen and transparency of Cobra Water Mixable Oil Colors. Following the fat-over-lean principle, this medium should be applied in the last few layers of painting. Perfect for glazing techniques. Like all Cobra mediums, it can be thinned with water.

Cobra Painting Paste

Cobra Painting Paste increases the transparency, while retaining the viscosity of the paint. It also increases the durability of the paint film and can be thinned with water.

Holbein DUO Aqua Painting Medium

DUO Painting Oil Medium enhances transparency and gloss finish while accelerating drying time. Aids in brush ability and flow. Great for detail.

Use DUO Painting Oil Medium alone or with water. Adding water may produce a milky appearance which will become clear once dry. DUO Linseed Oil can be added for stronger surface finish during final layers of painting. While Painting Oil Medium may become cloudy over time, performance will bot be affected. Store in a cool dark place. 55ml

Schmincke Medium W

Make any oil paint water-mixable!

Schmincke Medium W is a medium that allows you to mix oil paint with water instead of turpentine or paint thinner. Mix one part Medium W to two parts oil colour to increase gloss and transparency of oils, balance drying time, or wash your brushes with water.

This is a low odour, non-toxic alternative to traditional oil painting mediums and solvents, and is compatible with most oil colours. Dark shades may initially appear lighter or milky when mixed with the medium, but this effect disappears after the paint has dried.

Mix 2 parts of oil colour and 1 part Medium W on a palette, then add water as needed; if necessary add more Medium W. You can also clean your painting tools with water after the use of this medium. There is no change of the product quality based on the colour change of the raw material alkyd resin.

Winsor & Newton Artisan Fast Drying Medium

This fast drying medium improves the flow of Winsor & Newton Artisan Colours, speeding up the drying time. It also helps to smoothen your brushwork and increase gloss and transparency of Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colours. Excellent for use in glazing techniques and creating fine detail. Does not yellow.

Winsor & Newton Artisan Impasto Medium

This is an impasto and texturing medium for use with Winsor & Newton Artisan Colours. For thick impasto, build the texture in several layers, allowing each layer to dry first. Speeds the drying time of the colours.

Winsor & Newton Artisan Paint Medium

This painting medium thins the consistency of Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colours, and aids in fine detail work. Dries slowly to a flexible film.
