Start fresh with our new Opus Finest Primed Canvas. Crafted to the same specifications as our Custom Stretched Canvas, this locally-made surface is primed for your paintings in acrylic, oil, and more.

Opus Finest Primed Canvases are a superior quality, classic white surface on which to begin your work. The stretcher frames are constructed from 1½″ deep heavy duty pine bars, and are reinforced with cross-braces and gussets for optimum stability. Double-primed 7oz / 237gsm medium-texture canvas is professionally hand-stretched over the frame.

This canvas is ready to paint with acrylics. We recommend at least two additional coats of Opus Essential Gesso when painting with oils. Note: marks from the stretching pliers may be visible on the back of the canvas.
