One of the thickest of GOLDENĂŤs gels, Extra Heavy Gel is a 100% pure acrylic polymer matte medium that is used for creating thick textures, peaks and impasto techniques. The acrylic paints can be blended with this gel to increase body.

Drying translucent, this gel can be used as a glue for collaging materials together or lower sheen.

GOLDEN Soft Gels are essentially colourless paints, as they utilize the same 100% acrylic polymers as acrylic paints. Thinner than Heavy Body Acrylics, this gel produces a brilliant glaze when mixed with a small amount of colour. It can also be used for the wet blending of colour. Soft Gel Gloss makes an ideal isolation coat for your acrylic paintings, before applying a final, removable varnish. Simply thin with water and apply with a brush.

GOLDEN Regular Gels are essentially colourless paints, as they utilize the same 100% acrylic polymers as acrylic paints.

This creamy gel is similar in texture to heavy body acrylics, and is ideal for impasto effects, extending paints and regulating transparency without changing the consistency of your heavy body colours.

Also, great for adhering collages and mixed media works. They dry with excellent flexibility, and chemical-, water- and UV-resistance.

Offers a gritty texture similar to a concrete-like finish, and dries to an opaque, hard, gray film. To increase flexibility and adhesion, mix with other gels or mediums.

Add an exciting textural element to your painting. GOLDEN Clear Granular Gel mixes with other acrylic mediums, gels and colours to create granular translucent surfaces. Made with 100% acrylic granules.

Use your acrylic paints for silkscreening. Mix GOLDEN Silkscreen Medium with acrylic paint colours in order to silkscreen them onto paper, wood and other suitable fine art materials. This product is designed to increase working time and prevent paint from drying in the screen too quickly.

GOLDEN Glass Bead Gel has a coarse texture in a Heavy Body gel which holds peaks. It is made with genuine glass beads giving a unique visual effect, like condensation on glass, which is best seen when a thin film of the gel is used, allowing the most light to reach the beads.

This gel can be made to appear similar to Coarse Pumice Gel or Clear Granular Gel by mixing with enough paint to hide the appearance of the glass beads.

Isolation Coat is a ready-to-use sealing coat for acrylic paintings. Previously acrylic artists' only recourse was to dilute Soft Gel Gloss with water (our former and still acceptable recommendation) before applying it to completed acrylic artwork. Isolation Coat eliminates the need to measure and mix while increasing flow and leveling.

Isolation coat is a permanent acrylic medium that seals surface absorbency and allows for improved varnish application and easier varnish removal. Apply one or more layers before varnishing.
