GOLDEN Archival Spray is made from solvent-based, reversible acrylic resins. The flexible, clear film protects against dust, ultraviolet light and moisture. It is resistant to yellowing. To achieve the best results, use with an isolation barrier, shake well, apply in thin, even coats and avoid applying when conditions are extremely humid or cold.

Be sure to use in a well-ventilated area or with a respirator. Can be removed using full-strength mineral spirits or turpentine. An ideal varnish for your inkjet prints.

Works great

The biggest trick is to shake well and spray several coats (outside) at a distance. Light coats are key. If you spray too close you may get running.

GOLDEN MSA Archival Spray Varnishes

This is a very good product, expensive but it works well.

Golden Archival Varnish

I recently used Golden’s Satin Archival Varnish on an illustration I needed to protect. It was mixed media on illustration board mounted on a wood panel. I needed to know that my artwork would remain stable upon using a varnish. And for me the product worked beautifully. My illustration was done with micron pens, water colours, pencil crayons, pencil and a Sharpie thrown in for good measure. Opus helped me decide which product I could use. Also suggesting a test swatch first. Which made perfect sense.
Thank you Opus thank you Golden!
