Pébéo Pastel, Crayon and Charcoal Fixative can be used to fix the powdery colour of the pastel or charcoal onto the paper without modifying the shade.
The variation in effects depends on the way the pastel or charcoal is held, the degree of pressure exerted, as well as the grain and colour of the paper, which all contribute to the heaviness of the lines.
