Want some milk or honey with that tea? Urban Sketcher Marc Taro Holmes uses a “tea” wash over his original line sketch (light, very transparent watercolour); follows it up with a “milk” wash (more concentrated paint) and ends with touches of “honey” (sticky, intense paint layers for the darkest darks.)
This book provides both instruction and inspiration for using the “Tea, Milk, Honey” analogy to guide you while re-creating your urban environment on-site.
