One of the thickest of GOLDEN’s gels, Extra Heavy Gel is a 100% pure acrylic polymer matte medium that is used for creating thick textures, peaks and impasto techniques. The acrylic paints can be blended with this gel to increase body.

Drying translucent, this gel can be used as a glue for collaging materials together or lower sheen.

Use with acrylic colours to make them feel more oil-like. There is minimal shrinkage when dry, allowing for more brush strokes to be retained. The gloss offers a higher gloss finish and less shrinkage.

A thicker gel which is mixed with colours to increase the body of the paint. It is excellent for holding peaks and dries translucent.
