GOLDEN Glass Bead Gel has a coarse texture in a Heavy Body gel which holds peaks. It is made with genuine glass beads giving a unique visual effect, like condensation on glass, which is best seen when a thin film of the gel is used, allowing the most light to reach the beads.

This gel can be made to appear similar to Coarse Pumice Gel or Clear Granular Gel by mixing with enough paint to hide the appearance of the glass beads.

Use with acrylic colours to make them feel more oil-like. There is minimal shrinkage when dry, allowing for more brush strokes to be retained. The gloss offers a higher gloss finish and less shrinkage.

The thickest gel GOLDEN has to offer, which is mixed with colours to increase the body of the paint. It is excellent for holding peaks and dries translucent.

GOLDEN's Isolation Coat is a permanent acrylic medium that can be applied to completed acrylic paintings to seal surface absorbency, and unify and protect the surface. Apply one or more layers before varnishing to help ensure an even application of varnish and provides a layer of protection if/when varnish is removed.

GOLDEN Soft Gels are essentially colourless paints, as they utilize the same 100% acrylic polymers as acrylic paints. Thinner than Heavy Body Acrylics, this gel produces a brilliant glaze when mixed with a small amount of colour. It can also be used for the wet blending of colour. Soft Gel Gloss makes an ideal isolation coat for your acrylic paintings, before applying a final, removable varnish. Simply thin with water and apply with a brush.

One of the thickest of GOLDEN’s gels, Extra Heavy Gel is a 100% pure acrylic polymer gloss medium that is used for creating thick textures, peaks and impasto techniques. The acrylic paints can be blended with this gel to increase body.

Drying translucent, this gel can be used as a glue for collaging materials together or for adding extra gloss.
