Visit the Creative Services department at your local Opus to learn more about the Opus Essential Card Printing service. Our knowledgable staff will introduce you to the different print configurations and add-ons.

Our team can also advise on how to prepare your art file to ensure your prints best represent your original work. You'll need to obtain or create a high quality scan or carefully taken photograph, and convert it to a *.TIF or *.JPG file.

Once you have an idea of what you're looking to order, our staff can provide you a preliminary quote based on the quantity, type, and add-ons in your order.

Let's get your order placed

Once you have your art file prepared, our staff can assist you in placing your order. You'll need to forward the art file to the Creative Services department, via email, Google Drive, or other similar services. A USB drive would also work if you do not have access to those online options.

We had some minor adjustments to make with our card.

Our Creative Services Team will check through your file to ensure that it prints in an ideal manner. Your image may need to be cropped or adjusted to fit the card print area and other file settings. Our staff can show you a loose idea of how the image will appear on your card. You'll also be able to choose to add-on envelopes or crystal clear bags to include with your cards.

Our staff will then package your file and order for the Opus Print Space to process.

When the Creative Services team finalizes your Essential Card Print order, it will be forwarded to the team at Opus Print Space for production.

The Print Staff team will prepare your file for the card printer, and begin the print run.

Your cards will then be run through the high-quality CMYK Toner printer. These prints go through different machines from our Fine Art Print option.

Our Essential Card Printing offers a higher volume of prints at a more affordable rate. Our Fine Art Prints offer archival, pigment-based prints with a wide array of print options.

These two streams of services provide different ways to market your art to a wider audience.

After printing, your Essential Cards will go through the creasing machine to provide elegant, even folds.

Lastly, our team will neatly wrap your prints, and any add-ons you've ordered in kraft paper for delivery to your Opus location of choice.

Your Opus store will notify you once your order has arrived and is ready for pickup.
