To modify various characteristics of watercolours, choose Schmincke Horadam Aquarelle ONETZ Oxgall Medium. This natural, thickened wetting agent is perfect for watercolours and gouache colours, enhancing their performance in multiple ways.

Improves Flow: ONETZ Oxgall Medium enhances the flow of your watercolours, ensuring smooth and even application.
Surface Tension Reduction: It decreases the surface tension of the colours when diluted with water, allowing for better blending and layering.

Handling Information:

Oxgall is water-mixable. Dilute the product with a little water and mix it into the watercolours separately on a palette (use sparingly).
Please clean working tools as soon as possible with water or water and soap for easy maintenance.
Dissolved oxgall may tend to flocculate during long-term storage, but this has no influence on the product's handling.
The product also "degreases" undercoats such as lacquered palettes of painting boxes.
Close the container immediately after use and store it in a cool and dry place to maintain its quality.
Individual pre-tests may be required to achieve the desired effects in your artwork.
