Included in the body are HB leads, a great general purpose hardness, that can be advanced by clicking down on the eraser end. The pencil is refillable with any 0.5mm leads.

A tall, twist-up eraser gently and cleanly erasers the lead from most papers. Simply twist the body of the pencil to raise and lower the pencil.
